Overview

Damask, satin, and taffeta structural weaves produced on high-speed shuttle-less looms. The foundation of every garment identity programme we run, from luxury fashion houses to volume sportswear.

1. Construction:
Made by weaving coloured threads together on a loom, so the logo is formed by the threads themselves. Three weaves cover the range: damask (the densest, holds the finest detail and smallest text), satin (smooth, with a soft shine that makes colours look richer), and taffeta (flatter, crisper, and the most affordable).
2. Application:
Your main brand label. Damask for detailed logos or small text, satin when a soft shine helps a clean wordmark, and taffeta for simpler logos and large runs where cost matters most.
3. Finish & hand:
Damask and satin feel soft; taffeta is a little firmer. All three are hard-wearing, because the colour is part of the fabric — it stays sharp wash after wash and won't fade or peel.
4. Selection notes:
Choose damask the moment your logo has fine lines or tiny text. Satin suits clean wordmarks that benefit from a subtle shine. Taffeta is the value choice for high volumes.
